Authorship and Contributions Policy
Authorship and Contributions Policy
1. Authorship Criteria
The Irsa Journal of Sports Studies and Physical Education (IJSSPE) requires authorship to reflect genuine and substantial contributions to the research. All listed authors must have contributed meaningfully to the study and approved the final version of the manuscript.
2. Authors' Responsibilities
All authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the work. They must approve the manuscript before submission, disclose relevant conflicts of interest, and cooperate with the editorial team if questions arise concerning the research.
3. Corresponding Author
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal throughout submission, peer review, and publication. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have approved the submission and that their information is accurate.
4. Author Contributions
Authors are encouraged to describe their individual contributions to the research where appropriate. Contributions may include study conception, research design, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of findings, and manuscript preparation.
5. Changes to Authorship
Any request to add, remove, or reorder authors after submission must be justified and approved by all authors concerned. The journal may request written confirmation from the authors before considering such changes.
6. Unacceptable Authorship Practices
Gift authorship, guest authorship, ghost authorship, and the omission of individuals who meet legitimate authorship criteria are unacceptable. Individuals who provided assistance but do not meet authorship criteria may be acknowledged with their consent.
7. Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all content generated or assisted by such tools and must comply with the journal's AI Use Policy.
8. Final Statement
IJSSPE is committed to transparent and responsible authorship practices. All authors are expected to comply with this policy and the journal's publication ethics requirements.
